2 Park and loan scenario analysis
Network analysis done based on system conditions on a typical winter day. Well-distributed supply, full plant availability and performance. Supplies increased at different points until maximum level reached. Requirements for within day flexibility and contingency taken into account. Results indicate potential range of park and loan is between 2 and 10 mcm. On the day, decision to release and volume released would be at discretion of National Grid.
