2 Everybody, stand up!

3 As fast as you can, organize yourselves from tallest to shortest!

4 As fast as you can, organize yourselves by hair length!

5 As fast as you can, organize yourselves by shoe size without talking!

6 As fast as you can, organize yourselves by birthday (month and day) without talking!

7 What type of data is it? There are two kinds of data that we will look at in this class: Categorical Data and Quantitative Data

8 Categorical Data Categorical = Category (group)
Data is organized by descriptions like color, texture, smell, taste, appearance and beauty. Data can be observed, but not measured.

9 Quantitative Data Quantitative = Quantity (amount or number)
Data deals with numbers and can be measured. Types of this data include length, height, area, volume, weight, speed, time, cost and age.
