3 Security for Your Baby Security in measure
Retinal Scanner, not an iris scanner, will be in place at the exit of the mother’s room. (A blind personnel may implement the iris scanner, though it is much less accurate...Both are in the same machine so it would not cost extra) As a second measurement, fingerprint scanner will be placed to leave the maternal wing into the waiting room or beyond unless the baby has been cleared. (if there is a case where one is not able to use a fingerprint, we may use another finger, or a toe if necessary) In case of an emergency on part of the mother, there is another person with access to the baby of the mother's choice from before she was admitted.

4 Accuracy 95-98% Prevents infant abduction
Retinal scans are not able to be faked, however a blink may disrupt the process and it will need to begin again. Though if a vessel bursts in the eye, this will cause a problem as well though, theoretically, this is very rare to occur in a lifetime and even more rare in a week's period. A retinal scanner scans the vessels in the eye using a light scanner.

5 Mother and one other have access to baby only
Nurses can not remove the anklet Anklet is an alarm Designated sector for baby Since babies are now in the room and not in a viewing center, this allows for a better, more active environment Mother and one other have access to baby only Nurses can not remove the anklet Anklet is an alarm Designated sector for baby Since babies are now in the room and not in a viewing center, this allows for a better, more active environment

6 How it Works... To take the baby out of the room (around maternity wing): Mother (or preferred alternative) scans her retina in the retinal scanner located in her room To take the baby home (out of the hospital): Mother scans her retina in the retinal scanner located in her room The accepted retinal scan allows the fingerprint anklet to be accessed, the mother scans her fingerprint on the baby’s anklet allowing the baby to leave the hospital.

8 Our Success Story>>>>

9 Whitney, a 24 year old soon-to-be mother, came to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital to give birth. Upon entering both her and her mom (her chosen alternative) was quickly fingerprinted and eye scanned. Her info was saved into the Watchful Eye™ hard drive. After giving birth her new, precious baby was taken from Whitney’s room to be bathed. Whitney wanted to take a walk with her baby. In order to do so she scanned her eye via the installed eye scanner in her room, allowing the baby to be released to just around maternity wing. One day before both Whitney and her baby were scheduled for release, an alarm went off. The alarm was signaling that a baby was taken out of the mother baby unit without a fingerprint and iris scan from the mother or a family member designated by the mother. It was Whitney’s baby. The angry father of the baby had come attempting to take home the baby secretly. Watchful Eye™ immediately staring tracking the specific baby as soon as the alarm was sounded and the baby was able to be quickly recovered. The next day Whitney scanned her iris which allowed her fingerprint to be accepted on the baby's Watchful Eye™ fingerprint anklet, thus releasing the baby from the hospital under the mother’s safety.

11 Stories of infant abduction//True Facts
The above is a website which offers the information to typical abduction cases from the hospital. This is an image of a nurse abducting a child, the hospital did not have accurate security measures that could prevent this. In 2017, there have been at least 12 cases of infants taken from hospitals, as of March across the globe.
