3 Child Labour Definition A child labour… is under the age 5 to 14.
receives extremely little or no pay. is controlled by violence or other threats. has no access to education or health care. Source: BBC

4 Child Labour Causes of Child labour Due to poverty.
More pressures on Companies to be competitive. Cheap source of labour. Children are not likely to organize trade unions. Little power to demand better health & safety or fair wages.

5 Child Labour How to reduce?
Economic development to raise family incomes and living standards. Awareness for education. Enforcement of anti-child labour laws. Changes in public attitudes towards children. Child labour will reduce if Government applies pressure through sanctions and boycotts.

12 Child Labour Findings The steps taken by the Government are insufficient. Education is must for them as they are the future of our country. If they won’t get education they would move towards the anti- social activities like robbery, prostitution etc. If child labour is under control then the economic development of India would increase.

13 Child Labour Suggestions
Any justification perpetuating the existence of child labour must be condemned. Awareness to the society regarding this issue. The Parliament should ensure that every child enjoys her right to education. The government should provide all amenities and facilities to poor families. As a human being it is the responsibility of each human to help people suffering from the deadly disease “POVERTY” which is one of the major reasons for child labour.
