The numbers employed in the primary industry has shown a steady decline from the 1850’s to 2000 The highest number was 26% in 1850 The decrease is 23% to just 3% in 2000 The biggest decrease was between 1850 – 1900 followed by a 50% decrease every 50 years. Choose one LIC or MIC which has experienced growth in the secondary sector. Explain the effects of the growth of the secondary sector on this country (June 2010) This is the start of a 6 mark answer. There is a social economic and environmental specific given. You need to make sure you can write 3 linked statements that explain your specifics. Make sure you refer back to the question. It is close to the developing markets in South Korea, Taiwan and India. E.g. in Xiamen City the Taiwanese company EUPA have a factory making coffee machines which employs 23,000 workers
