2. Walk into church quietly and with reverence

3. Once you are in Church you need to Examine your conscience
Think of how you have followed the 10 Commandments
Have you been going to Mass
How have you been treating others

4. Once you have Examined your conscience now it is time to make your first Confession

5. In the Name of the Father, and The Son and The Holy Spirit AMEN
Go up to Father and have a seat once seated you will make the sign of the cross
In the Name of the Father, and The Son and The Holy Spirit

6. You will say: Bless me father for I have sinned, this is my first Confession

7. Share your sins with father You will tell him what commandments that you have not followed

8. After sharing your sins you will say: These are my Sins

9. Father and you will talk about your sins

10. Father will then give you penance Penance: is a prayer and doing and act of kindness You will then say the Hail Mary and the Our Father in front of father

11. Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name
Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. amen

12. Hail Mary, Full of grace the Lord is with you, Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of god pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

13. Father will ask you to say the “act of contrition”
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you Whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with Your help, To do penance, to sin no more, And to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In His name, dear father, forgive me. Amen

You will go and have a seat in the pew and reflect on what you and Father have discussed during your confession.
