3 doc.: IEEE 802.15-<doc#>
<month year> doc.: IEEE <doc#> May 2004 This Week [1] at the opening plenary at the Interim, SG4b becomes TG4b automatically [2] at the mid-week meeting at the Interim, the new TG4b officers are voted in. [3] Our primary Interim activity is to assemble individual contributions. Robert Poor, Ember Corporation <author>, <company>

4 May 2004 Fast Schedule [4] At the Jul04 Plenary, we will vote on the individual contributions that will comprise the draft. [5] Draft complete by Sep04 Interim. (This is the hardest part of the schedule!) [6] At Sep04 meeting, we move the draft be put to letter ballot. [7] 30 day letter ballot period between Sep04 and Nov04 meetings. [8] Our primary Nov04 meeting activity is comment resolution [9] Put draft into recirc ballot in Nov04 meeting. Robert Poor, Ember Corporation

5 May 2004 Fast Schedule [10] 15 day recirculation ballot period between Nov04 and Jan05 [11] Comment resolution during Jan05 meeting. [12] At Jan05 meeting, seek approval from ExCom to go to sponsor ballot. [13] 30 day sponsor ballot between Jan05 and Mar05 meetings [14] Comment resolution during Mar05 meeting [15] 10 day recirculation ballot between Mar05 and May05 meetings [16] At May05 meeting, seek approval from ExCom to submit draft to RevCom. [17] RevCom meets in June. [18] At Jul05 meeting, rejoice, drink champagne, laugh and cry over TG3a. Robert Poor, Ember Corporation

6 Notes about Fast Schedule
May 2004 Notes about Fast Schedule * Between voting on the contents of the draft ([4], July 04) and submitting a complete draft ([5], September 05) is only two months. I have ideas on how to manage this, but this should be viewed as a red flag. Let's discuss. * If we have an outstanding NO vote going into the Jan05 meeting ([12]), rather than seeking a sponsor ballot, we can seek conditional approval under procedure 10. (We did this on TG4, as I recall.) There will follow a 15 day recirculation ballot, and assuming no new NO votes, will enter the 30 sponsor ballot period. Robert Poor, Ember Corporation

7 Slow Schedule [1-4] same as fast schedule
May 2004 Slow Schedule [1-4] same as fast schedule [5-16] add two months to each item. [17] RevCom meets in November. [18] At Nov05 (or Jan06) meeting, rejoice, drink champagne, and *still* cry over TG3a. :) Robert Poor, Ember Corporation
