German Language and German Culture for international students Summer Course Participants: International students from all faculties, especially students from the international partner universities of the University of Applied Sciences Schmalkalden Number of participants: 40-50 Topics: German language course on 4 levels with the aim to provide basic communicative skills. The course won’t be a chronologically traditional language course but a platform for communication in German right from the beginning. Even the beginners will carry out short dialogues in the German language. There are 4 hours of basic language classes every day and 2 hours off different modules to secure a highly efficient progress in learning German language. Another important part of the course will be the presentation of actual facts and figures of German culture and society. Furthermore ,there will also be offered excursions to places of interest and a supporting free-time programme.
