Lesson Objectives All students will be able to recognise past tense phrases about activities they have done and not done. Most students will be able to use the phrases they have learnt to speak and write about the past, to say what they have done and what they have not done. They will recognise the different parts of the verb “avoir”. 3. Note down the letter that matches what each person did. Example: Nicolas: C / E / G / N D’abord, il a joué aux cartes, puis il a bu du coca et mangé un hamburger. Ensuite, il a lu un livre. du chocolat chaud de l’eau Il a fait un gateau = he made a cake = drank / read = did/wrote

8 Use the correct part of the verb “avoir” to say that other people did these activities. Then translate each phrase. Example: nous avons mangé du poisson – we ate fish Il … bu du coca. Elle … acheté une BD. Nous … joué au hockey. Il … fait de la danse. Nous …fait du karate. Elle … mangé un poulet-frites. Nous…..bu de la limonade. Il …joué au basket.
