I charge for master and doctoral students in the teaching affairs. Today I mainly take four items to pay attention 4

3. Annual Review If you are CSC students If you are Self-support students
If you fail to do that, your scholarship will be suspended or withdrew
If you are Self-support students
Self-support students should attend the review, and materials submitted by the candidates will be the basis of friendship scholarship
Now I introduce the first point, in our University, all the students include CSC students and self-support students are required to submit annual review form and related documents on April .
For the CSC students, the evaluation very important. After the evaluation, it will be decided whether the CSC students can still keep their scholarships or not.
In this year, there were 5 students suspended and withdrew scholarship by the evaluation. If you want to be candidate of friendship scholarship, you must submit review form on time.
About friendship scholarship, please check hand book.

4. Academic paper During your study in WHUT;
High quality academic paper (EI, SCI) is encourages by University.
During your study in WHUT;
Index certificate;
Application time：Every June
the second point is academic paper. our university set the award for the high quality academic paper. In this year, we have 27 papers got award, total amount is RMB. The award application time in May every year.

5. Mid-term examination and thesis proposal report
Mid-term examination qualified standard：
The average score of degree courses is more than 75, the literature reading and preparation for thesis proposal. Qualified person can continue to learn, unqualified person will be suspended to learn in school.
Master is permitted to apply defence of master degree after finishing the thesis proposal report over than eight months; Doctoral is permitted to apply defence of doctoral degree after finishing the thesis proposal report over one year ;
硕士研究生，今年有学生因为没有阅读足量的文献和准备开题而没有通过考核，被中止学习。
对于博士研究生，特别需要提醒，由于发表文章需要等待很长时间，为了不影响毕业，建议学生尽量早的完成开题，进入论文研究。通常，第2学期末或第3学期初完成。
Every year there are postgraduate students were suspended to learn in school, because they had failed to satisfy the requirements.
For doctoral students, we need to remind, because it takes a long time to publish paper. In order not to affect the graduation . we suggest that the doctoral students should finish the TPR and start early doing the thesis research as soon as possible. It’s better to finish this TPR at the end of the second semester or at the beginning of the third semester.

6. Defence
Science and engineering doctorates must publish more than two papers in the core academic journals;
the other doctorates must publish more than three papers in the core academic journals.
At least one paper has been published in the core journals of the four major search (SCI, EI, ISR and CPCI).
Finally about defence, for the doctorates, University have basic requirements to graduation .
Here about the core journals of the four major search , we suggest that the students should ask your supervisor or check the library to know whether your paper satisfy the requirements or not , otherwise it will be invalid.
关于四大检索的核心期刊，建议投稿前问导师或去图书馆核查是否符合要求，否则无效。
