2. I am from a city of fire hot summers and wet filled winters.
Where leaves change like rainbows in fall, and birds whistle lullabies in spring.

3. I am from a loving home full of warmth and kindness.
Where happiness is filled from the hugs and time spent together.

4. I am from culture and heritage mixed into Italian Spaghetti.
Where loud laughs and hand gestures are the fluent language.

5. I am from bells ringing radiant songs on Sundays.
Where an hour long Mass’s minutes are marvelous and magical.

6. I am from equality not being free, but a long journey fought by many.
Where it took years to see past the physical appearance, but rather the person within.

7. I am from disabilities and sexual orientation being solely the definition of what a person is.
Where it leads to murders and discrimination simply due to differences one cannot control.

8. I am from watching some waste away resources and money, while others struggle for a fighting chance.
Where these differences can direct the outcomes of a child’s education.

9. I am from a classroom full of differences and diversity.
Where I will treat each child as a unique fingerprint blessed upon society.

10. I am from spreading of information among all generations.
Where I will listen to elders, and be taught by students.

11. I am from determination and dedication to achieve success.
Where I encourage all students to forever strive towards hopes and dreams.
