5. What do the children learn in primary school?
Early Level
greetings, numbers, colours, body parts and much more...
First Level
greetings, numbers to 40, likes and dislikes, animals and
preferences and much more...
Second Level
children are beginning to collate all of their learning so far to create drama scenes in their topics e.g. 'le cafe', weather reports and are able to write short passages about themselves and others
In Primary 7, children take part in a topic called 'Visitez Paris' which encompasses all primary school learning.

6. A Typical French Lesson
We begin with a French song
We then use the question dice to ask and respond to questions in French
We will then either learn something new or revise and improve on previous learning
All of the topics we learn throughout primary have songs that link to the vocabulary making learning fun and active
