2. Location
The Pomo lived in the northern part of California. The Pomo lived near the Russian River and the coast so they got cooler weather. Their landforms were grassy.

3. Shelter
The shelters of the Pomo were bowl shaped or cone shaped. The shelters were made of marshy reeds, sticks, hay, poles and grass.

4. Food
The Pomo depended on nature for food. The specific foods eaten by the Pomo were acorns, fish and deer. The Pomo ate fish, seaweed, deer, birds, and caterpillars. The Pomo did not eat or grow corn.

5. Culture
The Pomo’s baskets were made out of fur and feathers. They also made necklaces out of shells. The Pomo’s ceremonies were called Gustes. The ceremonies combined several days of dancing.
