IEEE 802 JTC1 SC achievements in Chicago in Mar 2018 Processed PSDO submissions Noted status of 41 standards in the PSDO pipeline Discussed action from Nov 2017 to withdraw various ISO/IEC standards Standards are :2001, :1995, :1998 & The SC Chair will now send a LS to SC6 with request (after EC approval) Reviewed SC6 Security ad hoc progress The Security ad hoc was proposed in SC6 primarily as a mechanism to attack IEEE based security, consistent with many previous China NB comments First teleconference is now scheduled for 16 March 2018, with submissions that: Assert issue with because of KRACK Complain about protocols (eg , & 802,22) that do not have cipher agility to support national regulations Note: there have been no submission in relation to 802.1X!
