3 Soil Creep Slowest downhill movement of soil.
Gravity pulls water in soil down the slope, so soil moves downhill with the water. Slope will appear rippled as a result

4 Slumping Very common on coast
Large area of land moving down a slope – leaves behind a curved surface During dry weather, clay contracts (shrinks) and cracks up. Rain then runs into these cracks and is absorbed by the clay becoming saturated. This weakens rock and gravity pulls it down the slope.

5 The combination of mass movement and coastal erosion on softer rock cliffs can lead to much quicker rates of coastal erosion, having significant effects on humans and the environment.
