4 Responses to Guilt You can IGNORE it. You can JUSTIFY it.
You will suffer physically, emotionally, etc. You can JUSTIFY it. You can try to justify/explain/minimize it. You can REDEEM it. You will pay for it; you will satisfy the debt. COGNITIVE DISSONANCE cognitive = mind dissonance = conflict We have conflict inside our minds when we BELIEVE one thing but ACT in a different way. Psalm 32:3-4 “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer.” 2 Corinthians 10:12 “We are not so bold as to compare ourselves with some who commend themselves; but when they measure themselves by themselves, and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.” KARMA = You get what you deserve.

4 Responses to Guilt Psalm 32:3-4 “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long…” Psalm 32:5 “I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.” Proverbs 28:13 “He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” James 2:10 "For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.“ Isaiah 64:6 "For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like filthy garments.“ You can IGNORE it. You will suffer physically, emotionally, etc. You can JUSTIFY it. You can try to justify/explain/minimize it. You can REDEEM it. You will pay for it; you will satisfy the debt. You can CONFESS it. Psalm 32:3-4 “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long…” Psalm 32:5 “I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.” 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just, and He will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” You can IGNORE it. You will suffer physically, emotionally, etc. You can JUSTIFY it. You can try to justify/explain/minimize it. You can REDEEM it. You will pay for it; you will satisfy the debt. You can CONFESS it. The only way you can get rid of your guilt. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin, And be washed in the blood of the Lamb! I wish there were some wonderful place called the Land of Beginning Again Where all our mistakes, and all our heartaches and all our selfish griefs Could be cast like a shabby old coat at the door and never be put on again.
