11 Environmental Concerns A Environmental Concern is that permafrost melts and dead plant material decomposes and releases CO2. Another major concern is that the melting of the permafrost is causing global warming. The Arctic tundra is changing dramatically due to global warming more southern animals like the red fox moved to the tundra

12 Land/Agricultural Uses There aren't a lot of people building houses in the Tundra because of airborne Pollutants. People is drilling in the ground for oil which is high price it is a threat of global warming. The Permafrost melts which releases CO2 in the air which is global warming.
