Aim: For Kent supported employment to effectively engage with employers in order for them to value the talent and potential of employing a member of staff with a learning / physical disability or disadvantage.

Objectives: Create an effective way of dealing with employers which compliments their needs Devise and implement a process for making the engagement process simple for the client, the employer and supported employment service/training provider

Effective Employer Engagement - Systems and Processes
Changes implemented: Single point of contact for employers - no more random phone calls from different members of staff Generic processes for use with employers - consistent paperwork, flowcharts and expectations Quality standards - consistent approach to engagement, shared practice between partners

Kent Supported Employment (Kent County Council) and Employers Sharing good practice- we understand the clients and their needs, completely client centred Clear understanding of the employers needs, offering job coaching, training in systematic instruction and personal HR support.

About us Founded in July 2015 as Tenterden Twilight Commercial Cleaning We predominantly clean public sector buildings and are best known for cleaning public toilets in the Kent area, it didn’t take long to expand from Tenterden. Recognised locally and across EU for quality standards and being reliable and accountable We are also known for our blogging for the European Cleaning Journal, and extremely engaging social media platforms You can connect with us on Linkedin, or Twitter (over a thousand followers) @tenterdensloos Snapchat or on our website

KSE have shown commitment and loyalty to me and my employees Dropped in at a moment’s notice for guidance or advice Been dedicated in working with me to become the best we can Enabled a KSE candidate to work freely, unsupervised consistently and above all, confidently – I even took a two week holiday! Invested their time to put on courses for my understanding of autism They believe in our three way professional relationship Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this type of success? Walks in with head held high Able to communicate with the wider team/ council workers as well Self-assured Confident Looking forward and moving in own direction at own pace Accepting People for just being themselves, and finding that path
