Synthetic Division Much easier shortcut to Polynomial division.
Uses only coefficients. Procedure: Use each term’s coefficient Divide by the root (not the factor) Bring first coefficient down Multiply/Add/Repeat

Synthetic Division Pros of Synthetic Division:
Much quicker than polynomial division Can check whether something is a root much faster. Once you get down to x2, you can factor or use quadratic formula to find the remaining roots!

(3x3 – 17x2 + 15x – 25) ÷ (x – 5) (2x3 + 14x2 – 20x + 7) ÷ (x + 6)
