1 Probability Bingo Two dice will be thrown.
If you have the sum of their score on your card, you can cross it off. You can have one sum more than once but you can only cross one number off at a time. Can you produce a bingo ticket which will give you the BEST chance of winning?

2 Who will win? Every week, Sheffield United play Sheffield Wednesday play each other at two goal football. They play until two goals are scored. Over a 36 game season, which team is likely to win more games?

3 Who will win? Model the games by throwing two dice and taking the
difference Scores a goal if the difference is 0, 1 or 2 Scores a goal if the difference is 3, 4 or 5

1 - 1 Draw 2 - 0 SU Win 0 - 2 SW Win Scores a goal if the difference is 0, 1 or 2 Scores a goal if the difference is 3, 4 or 5

5 Release the Prisoner! You need 6 counters.
You can place your counters on any of the ‘cells’. If you want you can place more than one counter on one particular cell. Each counter represents 1 prisoner that You are trying to break free from prison. Two dice will be thrown. Your teacher will tell you whether we are taking the SUM or the DIFFERENCE. If you have a counter on that particular number, you can ‘release’ a prisoner from that cell. You can only release one prisoner at a time. How can you arrange your counters to give yourself the best chance to win?
