3 Glen Lily South 128 persons registered on database (some still subject to deeds search and FICA verification) Plots to be auctioned on September (18:00) – legislative prescripts regarding competiveness & transparency

4 Prior to auction – See Important Dates/Timeframes
Viewing of vacant plots (Friday, 17 & Saturday, 18 August) – note instructions to be followed Prior registration for auction (complete and submit form by 20 August by 17:00 latest) Study rules of auction in advance- see clause 7 of Schedule A to Offer to Purchase Submit objections to rules of auction by Friday, 17 August, if any – will be considered read at auction Persons disqualified following deeds search & FICA compliance will be notified by 31 August – no bidding allowed if requirements are not met Collect bidder number for auction prior to auction on 6 September, between 17:00 and 18:00 (at banqueting hall)

5 At the auction One person one plot
Municipal Manager to conduct auction – no auctioneer’s commission payable Auction will commence 18:00 punctually – no delays allowed Registered bidder must be present in person Auctioneer has sole right (1) to regulate the bidding procedure, (2) to make final and binding decision if dispute arises and (3) to correct any errors by himself

6 At the auction (cont.) Bidding to take place i.r.o. individual erven (one by one) Bidding will commence at reserve price – refer information pack for detail) – no offers below reserve price will be accepted Reserve price includes (1) land value, (2) transfer fees and (3) 15% VAT Bidding shall be by the rise of bid number, and the property sold to the highest bidder (subject to conditions in Offer to Purchase) The highest bidder shall sign the Offer to Purchase immediately on the fall of the hammer; A bid may not be withdrawn Seller (the Municipality) to accept bid within timeframes provided in Offer to Purchase
