1. Daily Star Student Events
Monday – Poster Project and Pictures A poster will be given to your child on Friday to complete over the weekend. Your child will share their poster and a few photos of themselves and family during morning meeting on Monday. The poster and pictures will be proudly displayed throughout the week.
Tuesday – Show and Tell Your child may bring in two special, non-valuable items to share with the class.
Wednesday – Read Aloud Your child may bring in a short book or poem to read to the class. I’d be happy to help with the book selection.
Thursday – Special Letter Parents, please write a brief letter or poem about what makes your child special. Feel free to be creative. Examples include writing about your child’s characteristics, a special memory, special talent(s), etc. You may also include a picture. Your special letter will be read to the class during morning meeting.
Friday – Teacher Lunch The Star Student and a friend of their choice get to have lunch with their teacher.
