c ORCID iD is a unique researcher identifier Register once for life
Open Researcher & Contributor ID c ORCID iD is a unique researcher identifier Register once for life Under your control Not institution dependent Required by some publishers and funders This is something we really would recommend that you set up. You should add a personal as well as a University . Register for an ORCID iD. This can be done through Pure, our current research information system (CRIS). All PGRs should be able to login to this. ORCID iDs are requested by some Publishers (increasingly). They are now displayed on ePrints and are clickable links. Making an impact is important. Making sure that you get recognition for your work is important Having an identifier that stays with you throughout your career makes sure that you get that credit. c
