4. What is the best thing you have ever learnt?

5. When Pastor Benedito had the opportunity to find out more about the Church and Community Mobilisation Process (CCMP) he joined a new training programme.

6. He was then given a task - to share with his church all that he had been learning.
After selecting a team from the church who would act as ‘facilitators’ for their conversations they formed a new association. One already recognised by the local government, focusing on development.

7. Known as ‘A Child, A Friend’, they’re supporting vulnerable children and young adults.
Every Saturday they take time to study the Bible, play games and eat meals together.

8. But they plan to do lots more - with one very special goal to work towards…
Seeing all of the children going to school.

9. ‘‘I am convinced that with UMOJA we can transform the church, our lives and the life of the community.’

Please pray for Benedito and the new team of facilitators, that they will continue to find real encouragement as a group

Please pray for Benedito’s church as they continue on their journey using CCMP.

Pray for the church’s work with vulnerable children and young adults. That through them they will find a place of encouragement and support.

Pray for the vision of the church, as they look to reach their goal of seeing all of the children completing education.
