2 Under Section 503, do contractors have
an obligation regarding disability self-identification? YES, this is a requirement under the Section 503 Final Rule. NO, that is not the case. The other nondiscrimination laws deal with this provision.

3 Not the right choice!!! Please try again…
The Final Rule requires that contractors invite applicants to self- identify as individuals with a disability at both the pre-offer and post- offer phases of the application process. Please try again…

4 CORRECT! The new Section 503 regulations require contractors to invite applicants to self-identify at the pre-offer stage, in addition to the existing post-offer self-identification requirement. OFCCP is developing a form for contractors to use to invite applicants to self-identify and will post it on the OFCCP Web site when it becomes available. OFCCP added this requirement so that contractors can track the number of individuals with disabilities who apply for jobs and use this information to assess the effectiveness of their outreach and recruitment efforts. Check out the Final Rule frequently asked questions page to learn more about this requirement. This 30-Second Training has been developed using Federal funds from the Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration under Contract No.: DOLJ131A The contents of this publication do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of the Department of Labor, nor does mention of trade names, commercial products, or organizations
