Description:
The Lacey Act states that it is unlawful to import, sell, acquire, or purchase fish, wildlife, or plants that are taken, possessed, transported, or sold in violation of US or Indian laws
The act is also designed to prevent the spread and sale of potentially dangerous invasive species into other states
In 2008 it was amended to add the aspect of logging
