4. I. How to pray for salvation and for God to use you as a witness.
A. We Know that we receive when we ask, so ask boldly.

5. Our Application – pray specifically each morning that:
God will allow you to deliver the Gospel to someone
God will open their hearts, convict them of sin
He will save them.

6. B. Persistence in prayer yields results.

7. D. Pray for an open door to witness, like Paul did.

The Great commandment and the Great Co-Mission go hand in hand!

People take an average of 8 touches of the Gospel before they accept it!

21. Witnessing In Public
A. Intentionally engage people in conversation. You will likely be most effective where people are not in a hurry but just “killing time” .
B. Always carry good gospel tracts and freely distribute them!!!
Great targets are: sales clerks, taxi drivers, people at the park…. and bored waiting teenagers are one of the very best targets!

22. Evangelistic Outreach Ministries
The key to all ministry, especially evangelistic outreach, is prayer!

23. 1) Target the Best Audience:
Generally, the younger the audience the better
High turnover is better so that many people get to hear the Gospel message.

24. Ministry Example: A juvenile detention center ministry is likely to be much more fruitful, for the same amount of effort, than a nursing home ministry where the population is much older and there is little turnover.

28. 4) Invitations & The Gospel Presentation
When it is time to present the Gospel, don’t hold back at all!
Clearly and simply present the story of Christ and especially include the full 3 parts of the Gospel: the death, burial and resurrection.
