2. “Be Diligent”
“Diligent” – "to hasten to do a thing, to exert oneself, endeavor, give diligence“
“Beloved” – Shows his care for them
“these things” – Day of the Lord (vs )
“blameless” – Be ready (Philippians 2:14,15)
“longsuffering” – Use time to prepare (v. 9)
Paul also had written – Romans 2:4
God has given time and instruction
We must be diligent to be at peace with God, being without spot and blameless

3. “Beware” “know these things” – gives advantage
“Beware” – Dangers exist
“lest ye fall” – 1 Peter 5:9; 1 Corinthians 15:58
“being led away” – We can fall
If we stand for nothing we will fall for anything

4. “Grow” Must grow or die Immaturity a real danger
Causes strife – 1 Corinthians 3:1-4
Causes ignorance – Hebrews 5:12-14
Causes instability – Ephesians 4:14
Our life must be characterized by spiritual diligence, caution and growth!

5. What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)
Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37)
Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30)
Confess your faith in Jesus (Matthew 10:32)
Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38)
Faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)
