Week 8 (July 10– July 14, 2017)
Accomplishments:
Wrote up four and half pages of the report in latex.
Discussed improvements on the report with Dr. Turgut.
Tried altering the edges of images to avoid Google’s vision API.
Issues/problems encountered and solutions (if any):
Attempted to use wavelet transform to blur the edges of an image. However, could not get the python package to work correctly. This could be due to lack of knowledge with how wavelets work.

Continue working on the edge modification with images
Continue working on the report, specifically finding more related works to compare and contrast with
NSF REU Research Experience on Internet of Things 2017
