With your groups you will be taking your research on you Civil War Battle and putting it on a poster For your poster you need the following information: Geographic location (maps help) Outcomes/ Significance is the most important information Commanders (names, pictures) Forces involved Strategies and goals (this will take some writing) Outcome and casualties (killed and wounded are separate numbers) Significance-what did this battle do? Did it give one a side a city, did it force a new strategy? pictures portraying the battle

8 Project notes You will rotate throughout the room to each project and in your notebooks you will copy the following information Name of battle and head general for each side Goals/strategies Outcome Significance
