3 Aims of SWEP The mandatory involvement of users and carers in the new social work degree has the power to prepare the next generation of social workers for the new realities of 21st century practice. The aim of this website is to share good practice around the participation of service users and carers in social work education.

The mandatory involvement of users and carers in the new social work degree has the power to prepare the next generation of social workers for the new realities of 21st century practice. But there is work to do to make sure that this involvement is of a consistently high standard.
