3. What is SurveyTrac?
The SurveyTrac module enables surveys to be created and delivered manually or automatically to the users through the Trac 4.0 application.
Surveys can be customized with various types of questions and may be made available to students in a number of ways.

4. System Settings
These are system-wide settings rarely need to be touched after initial setup.
SURVEYHOST - is the hostname/DNS/URL used to access your server (i.e. trac.college.edu or :88). This is used to build the survey link for SurveyTrac.

Groups can be given access to use defined Survey Types.

Surveys are managed via the SurveyTrac Management found in the Trac Menu.

7. Survey Management
Surveys can be sent to students via as well as made available within the Trac system in a number of ways. The way a survey is interacted with is defined by the “Initiated Via:” setting.

9. Initiated via: Display During Appointment Creation
Will display on the appointment screen as an appointment is being booked.

Will display when the administrator, staff or consultants opens the visit record.

Displays to the student or advisor as the student is signed out.

Displays as a link on the Student Listing and you can the survey to the selected students.

Displays as a link on the Student document posting screen.

14. SurveyTrac Management – Question Types:
The your creating your questions the may be typed directly into the field or formatted with HTML codes. Add color, size, and styles to your questions.
Type
 Checkbox – Provides a checkbox for the question. Check for a positive answer.
 Pulldown – Provides a list of answers available in a pulldown menu.
 Radio Choices – Provides a list of choices with buttons to select an answer.
 Fill in – Allows a single line for an 80 character typed response.
 Essay – Allows a text box for a full text response.
 Multi-check – Allows the user to select multiple answers to a question.
