2. A CT scan takes pictures of the
inside of your body.

3. First, you will wait in our waiting room.
You might like to bring a toy from home to play with or a stuffed animal to hug.

4. This is our CT scan machine.

5. The tech will ask you to lie down on the bed
The tech will ask you to lie down on the bed. Can you see where your head would go?

6. It is common for patients to wear a heavy blanket and seat belts.
Our bed is very skinny, we use seatbelts to remind your body to keep still and not to roll off.
The tech might cover your body with a heavy blanket while they take pictures.

7. It is important to keep still during the pictures
What happens to the picture if you move while someone is taking a photo?
You will need to stay as still as a statue for the photos.

8. Once the tech says the photos are done, its time to go home!
