4 Christians often confused with challenge of living above sin & reality that we sometimes sin due to weakness or ignorance Romans 6:1,2 “continue in sin?” “NO!” 1 John 1:8-10 “say have no sin…lie” 2 Peter 1:3 “all things…life and godliness” 2 Timothy 3:16,17 “thoroughly equipped for every good work”

Everyone has a problem with SIN Our Thinking about Wrong is Important Repentance is the Key “Metonoia”- “after – thought” Change mind, change thinking Acts 26:20 “repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.”

Repentance Is: A Change of Mind Produced by Godly Sorrow Resulting in Reformation of Life Proverbs 23:7a “as he thinks…so is he” Isaiah 55:7 “wicked forsake…his thoughts” 2 Corinthians 7:10 “godly sorrow produces repentance” Matthew 3:8 “fruit worthy of repentance”
