Upon obeying the gospel, the Lord saves, & adds the individual to His church (the spiritual body of the saved).
Once that occurs, one must assemble with faithful brethren within a local setting, that both heralds the truth of God’s word, & defends it against error!
Adherence to the truth of God’s word is paramount (Jn. 8:32, 12:48; Matt. 7:21-23)!
