6. What is a Crisis?
Any form of event that disrupts the normal and safe commute to and from work or the ability to work safely from one of our office or client locations. Examples include:
Explosion or leak from a neighboring industrial facility or community utilities
Natural disaster such as hurricane, tornado, earthquake, ice storm, etc.
Pandemic
Terrorist attack

7. PLAN PURPOSE
Respond to the immediate needs for securing a safe environment
Investigate the alternative work environments
Coordinate work immediately following the event
Rebuild the infrastructure to resume operations

8. MAGNITUDE ASSESSMENT
The magnitude of the situation will dictate the level of response by the Crisis Safety & Recovery Team
Local Community or Regional Emergency
Corporate management along with divisional and regional management will work together on plans to continue to do business

A team formed under these circumstances could include local divisional management, Mangan Project Management, client management, and support of Corporate management as it applies to the situation
Nationwide Emergency
Corporate management and personnel from each office’s local management team will actively participate in the overall responsibilities of recovery

10. INITIAL RESPONSE
Initially, the company supports the individual safety of the employees and their need to return to their family and homes.
Work comes only after individual and family safety responsibilities have been secured.

Managing Directors will act as the management Team Lead and Media Representatives and will work in concert with:
Regional Directors
Regional Command Representatives – general oversight for all situations in their region
Safety and Human Resources
Injury, head count, support for field access assessments, resource for continued operations
Operations Managers
Office access or remote work access assessment

Project Managers and Account Representative
Work with client’s project management team and conduct pre-access site assessments
CFO
Working for the Managing Directors as a liaison for legal and insurance claims
MIS or IT Representative
Oversee assessment, re-supply, and restart of business servers, files, and communication system

14. COMMUNICATION
We will utilize local or out-of-state office lines for establishing a headcount and to provide instruction covering local office and client access situations.
Note: In the event of a complete disruption of our ability to communicate the proper procedure for all employees is to stay put, not work, and see to their personal safety.

15. FACILITIES Post Evacuation Office Re-Entry
Prior to re-entry of an office or client site, the following forms will be used to verify safe conditions:

To determine new hazards to the client site as a result of the crisis

Prior to re-entry, authorization to the
office must be communicated by the Regional Director
client site must be communicated by the Project Manager
Note: Employees are not to work independent of the company’s plan and proceed to work at a facility that has not been authorized as safe for re-entry.

The project Job Safety Analysis is to be revised prior to site entry when the site has been compromised in any way.
Determine the tasks
Assign a Risk Category
Mitigate the risks to what is acceptable or defer the work
The entire project team is to be up to date on the the JSA findings

18. BUSINESS RECOVERY PLAN
In the event of a Short Term Outage, the Team will direct company and contract resources to:
Clean up, repair, replenish urgent office supplies
Restart computer servers
Gradually resume business transactions while communicating with and updating employees continually on the progress of restoration and site access opportunities

In the event of a Long Term Outage case, the Team in collaboration with the local authorities, the leased office landlord, the local suppliers, and the contractors will initiate the following actions:
Choose an alternate location to re-establish business on a skeleton basis
Direct “key infrastrcture employees” (IT, HR, Accounting, Safety, etc.) to report to the temporary location

Direct the remaining employees of the affected office to remain at home or at a safe place, and explore possibilities of working from that location
Direct IT reps to assess the hardware, software, and communication needs of the temporary office
Order essential office and emergency supplies for the temporary office
Establish a “communication tree” to communicate with and update employees regularly
