2 WHAT CAN VIRUSES DO? Cause infectious diseases while they replicate their genetic material within its cells. Interfere with normal DNA repair mechanisms, Directly change the cell's gene sequence, Cause rapid cell division mutations. All of these changes can stimulate the uncontrolled cell division that is the hallmark of cancer.

What does reverse transcription means? Discuss the answer to the other questions.

4 IT´S ALARMING, BUT NOT THAT MUCH
For examples, only about 5 percent of people infected with the human T-cell leukemia virus go on to develop cancer. A viral mechanism also implies the ability to prevent cancer with a vaccine. But, there is still hope with the new discoveries. Do you know any particular vaccine for an infectious diseases?
