5 What is expected at the school level?
Students who take an AP course will be required to take the AP Exam for that course AP Exams are administered during the first 2 weeks in May – this is set by CollegeBoard. Exam will be free (paid for by the state) What is expected at the school level?

0.5 quality point for Honors courses A = 4.5 B = 3.5 C = 2.5 D = 1.5 1.0 quality point for AP courses & Career and College Promise A = 5.0 B = 4.0 C = 3.0 D = 2.0 How does it effect your GPA?

AP Exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5 Eighty-five percent of selective colleges and universities report that a student’s AP experience favorably impacts admission decisions.
