A role for the EU? Preserving the integrity of sport events: sport rights protection - the question of fair returns to right-owners

6 Conclusion Avenues at EU level Take into account the interests of sport in the discussion on the reorganisation of gaming markets. Ensure sport can play its role in society White Paper on Sport: Study on different systems of sport funding across the EU EU limits to national regulatory action – infringement cases Depending on political will: the broader topic of gaming and fair financial returns to sport could be back on the agenda Further dialogue
