A characteristic of a pure substance that can be observed without changing it into another substance
Examples of physical properties
Color shape
Melting point boiling point
Density malleability
Odor hardness
Solubility electrical conductivity

4. Chemical Properties
Relates to a substance's ability to undergo a change that transforms it into different substance
Examples
Flammable
Oxidizes
Reduces
Reacts with acid
Rusts
