1. Units On the Eng Tech you will be completing the following units:

3 Health and Safety in Engineering
5 Engineering Materials
6 Computer-aided Engineering
7 Machining Techniques
8 Electronic Circuit Design and Construction
9 Interpreting and Using Engineering Information (externally assessed)
10 Mathematics for Engineers
11 Electrical and Mechanical Science for Engineers

2. Progression
After completing the Level 2 Eng-Tech you may be able to progress onto Level 3 Extended Diploma (this is subject to achieving a minimum of Merit grade in maths and dependant on behaviour and timekeeping)
Alternatively you may wish to seek employment.

3. Overall Grade
Points are awarded for each subject per 10 guided learning hours as follows:
2 points for level 1 pass
4 points for level 2 pass
6 points for level 2 Merit
8 points for level 2 distinction
To achieve a level 2 pass it is necessary to achieve a minimum of 24 points in the Core Units 1 and 2
