2 Fig 1 A, An elliptical incision has been made around two adjacent arteriovenous fistula (AVF) aneurysms (AVFAs). The distal AVFA has a bleeding ulcer that was ligated preoperatively. B, Proximal and distal control has been established, and the distal AVFA has been resected and prepared for revision. C, Both AVFAs have been repaired with a running 6-0 Prolene (Ethicon, Somerville, NJ) suture. D, The skin edges were reapproximated with a running 3-0 nylon whip stitch.
