3. Go Ask Alice Background Activity
The narrator in Go Ask Alice was largely impacted by the culture of the 1960’s. In order to gain insight into the connection between the culture of the time period and the decisions of the narrator, we must research the events and ideas that the 1960’s culture was build around.

4. Activity
Each group will be assigned a topic that impacted either the 1960 culture or the novel.
Each group will research the topic and “Teach” the class about their topic.
Research topic: What is it? What do we need to know about the event? Focus on the important elements.
Explain event: How did it impact the culture of the time period?
