2 Woodbridge MS History 1910: Woodbridge HS construction begins Sept. 11, 1911: WHS opens on Barron Ave Additions in 1924, 1926, 1932, 1962, 1970, included the gym, café, auditorium, music rooms/shops, library, 5 classroom annex Sept 1956: WHS opens on Kelly St. ($3.125 million) Woodbridge Junior HS established for grades 6-8. Sept 1959: Grade 9 transferred to WJrHS 1981: Grade 9 transferred back to WHS

1. Twenty-two (22) new or renovated classrooms and 6 new science rooms with prep rooms. 2. A new full-size gymnasium with bleachers. 3. New male and female locker rooms and PE office. 4. New instrumental music room and a vocal music room. 5. New art room. 6. The new addition will be air conditioned. 7. New elevator. 8. New nurse’s suite. 9. New main offices and renovated guidance suites. 10. Renovated and expanded toilet rooms. 11. Renovate select areas of the existing building. 12. Fire Sprinklers throughout. 13. Increase student capacity by about 100.
