What I need to do in order to be successful this semester? I ask myself this question every time I get up in the morning. The sliver lining for every student in life. The most important things I need to accomplish this semester is to care about school, to pass english 1101, and getting a 3.0 Gpa for school.

8 Example #2: Is this a good opening paragraph? Explain.
This spring semester there are a couple of things that I need to accomplish. Certain things more important than the others but it is mandatory for me to accomplish the following: have a GPA superior or equal to 2.0, find soccer tryouts and find a job before the end of the semester.

9 Example #3: Is this a good opening paragraph? Explain.
College is a gateway for a career you want to have and this is true for many students and people. Like many other people I also want to build my career by going to school with a mindset of a winner. But Inorder to succeed in school I must accomplish things from the first day to the very end. Before planning the long term goals and plans I must first follow a step which starts from the first semester. Getting a good sense of the college life, getting a good concept of a higher learning system, study planning, and finally getting a good grade for the whole semester.

10 Example #4: Is this a good opening paragraph? Explain.
In this spring semester, that is the 2017, and semester which began on January 8, I will have to show up to all my classes, ask questions in class, stay on top of my class work and make extra time to study in order to pass this semester or accomplish the goals set for myself.

11 Example #5: Is this a good opening paragraph? Explain.
I have a lot of goals this semester, like Passing classes with good grades to bump up my GPA. Earn enough credit to transfer out of this campus to the Atlanta campus. There are more opportunities there, which will help me get a better insight into my major.

12 Example #6: Is this a good opening paragraph? Explain.
This “Spring 18” is very important for me. I have person goals to achieve and want to prove myself. We will discuss what are the most important things that I need to do this semester through three parts. I will first explain why college is important to me, then, why I want to prove myself and finally I will tell what I need to accomplish this semester.
