Mitchell Morris is the Global Leader for the Life Sciences and Healthcare Industry at Deloitte. He is responsible for leading life sciences and healthcare practice for one of the world's largest professional services firms offering audit, risk, tax, financial advisory and a range of consultative services. Dr. Morris has more than 30years of health care experience in consulting, health care administration, research, technology, education, and clinical care. Prior to joining Deloitte, Dr. Morris served as a Senior Vice President for Healthcare Systems and Chief Information Officer at MD Anderson Cancer Center where he was also Professor in Surgery and in Health Services Research. During his clinical career, he was recognized as a leading researcher and educator. Dr. Morris’s focus at Deloitte has been on health systems, academic organizations, and government agencies, assisting them with the development and implementation of strategies around health reform, growth, technology, and innovation. He has published extensively and is a frequent speaker on healthcare reform, technology, and quality.
