2. Figure 1 FER Negatively Regulates Seed Size.
(A)fer muants produce larger seeds than the wild-type. The fer mutants and wild-type control were grown under the same conditions and seeds were harvested at the same time. Photos of dry seeds were taken 1 week after harvest.
(B)fer mutants show larger cotyledons than wild-type. Seeds were germinated on MS agar plate and photos were taken 4 d after germination.
