Scale how you felt out of 1-10 at the end of last term. 1 = horrible. 10 = fantastic What things did you sacrificed or which fell away as a result your work but you think are very important to your wellbeing? What can you do this week to strengthen one of your important relationships? What can you do to bring your strengths and sense of meaning more into your life? What are your health goals- these are the ones that are often the first to go when stresses but the most beneficial? In an information-rich world, the wealth of information means a dearth of something else: a scarcity of whatever it is that information consumes. What information consumes is rather obvious: it consumes the attention of its recipients. Hence a wealth of information creates a poverty of attention and a need to allocate that attention efficiently among the overabundance of information sources that might consume it. Simon, H. A.
