Students will collect an environmental swab and learn basic microscopy and staining techniques.

Did you know the active ingredient in orange cleaning products is a chemical called LIMONENE?
In this lab, students will extract limonene using a green, organic process used in industry.

13. Continuing Efforts This program has now run five times.
It was publicized on several news stations and in the local papers.
We received positive feedback from both the students and their leaders. The volunteers also enjoyed the experience.
