Qiuhe Peng Nanjing University) A strong radial magnetic field has been detected near the GC ( at ) (Eatough et al., 2013, <Nature>) The accretion plasma is clearly prevented from approaching to the GC by the strong radial magnetic field due to the magnetic freeze effect . The radiations observed near the GC cannot be emitted by the gas of the accretion disk around the BH at the GC. → No BH at the GC ! What Object is at the GC? (Peng Q. and Chou C., 2001, ApJ., 551(2001) L23-L26) Taking the RC effect ( nucleons may decay catalyzed by a magnetic monopole) as an energy source, we proposed “A super-massive star model with magnetic monopoles (SMSMM) at the GC (non black hole)” ; Five predictions in our model are confirmed by observations later. → an evidence of the existence of the magnetic monopoles .
